About The Game
Bleed is a 2D platformer with a small focus on puzzles. You play as an amnesiac who awakens inside a machine and you must fight to rescue your fellow employees. Control is achieved by simple swipe movements around the screen and enemies are also controlled by a swipe. Some enemies have invincibility while others are timed and if you don’t get to them in time they will bleed which means you are no longer safe. You will slowly lose control of the machine once you start to bleed so every enemy you encounter and jump must be carefully considered.
As you progress through the levels you will slowly gain control of the object and get more power. Your controls will get more refined so you can jump higher and interact with objects and enemies in new ways. At the end of each level is a little tutorial where you learn a new way to move around and discover a new puzzle.
New levels:
Each level is unlocked with in-game currency that you collect by playing other levels. You will be able to play levels from previous runs before you unlock them so you can learn the most efficient way of passing through certain levels without dying.
Over 100 levels:
There is over 100 levels to play through. Each level has a set goal. There are also two game modes. There is a single player mode where you just play through the levels in a set order in one run and a co-op mode where you play the levels in a set order and you team up to defeat an end boss.
Objects:
As you progress through the levels you will have more objects to interact with. Each object will have a different function. For example, you can break walls to reach high ledges or pull metal pipes to move pieces of the machine.
You can select the order in which you play the levels so there is no fixed order in which the levels will be played.
Icons
The icon for each object is randomly selected from a set of icons before you start to play the game. This makes it easy to collect each object without looking at the instructions and it is easier to memorize what each object does.
