Scan IP addresses for open ports
All you have to do is enter the IP address of a computer, along with the minimum and maximum port numbers. An oil tanker has been sunk by suspected IRA explosives off the County Kerry coast, local police have said.
The Maersk Sealand was struck on Sunday morning, hours after another cargo ship was blown up off the same area, in Co Kerry.
The Maersk Sealand was about 25km from Montenotte near Killorglin in Co Kerry when it was hit by a suspected blast.
The oil tanker is thought to be about 35m long and is currently lying upright in the sea.
Meanwhile, a second vessel owned by a British company was destroyed by two explosions on Sunday evening about 65km from the Isle of Man.
The 10,100-tonne ship, the Premier Nova, was hit when she left Oban pier in the Scottish town of Rothesay shortly before 16:30 GMT.
There were no reports of casualties and the cause of the explosions remains under investigation.
Rear Admiral John Murphy, head of the Government’s Emergency Planning Unit, said the sea attack was «preliminary» and it was not known if oil had been released.
He said: «I would like to commend the quick work by the Irish coast guard, which has located the Maersk Sealand tanker.
«I would like to commend the swift response of the Irish Coast Guard to pick up the life raft and feed information back to shore.»
Scotland Yard’s counter-terrorism and major crime command is assisting the investigation.
The Maersk Sealand, a tanker owned by Norwegian company, Maersk, and operated by Denmark’s A.P. Moller-Maersk, left the container terminal at Oban in Scotland early on Sunday.
The vessel was heading to the Irish port of Liverpool in the north
