setupexe was created as an accessible an useful software utility that allows users to run a specified setup with administrator privileges.

To troubleshoot the EXE file, after you launch the program and it works, open a command prompt by pressing Start, then type

One thing to note is that it is not a good idea to create a «setupexe» shortcut on your desktop. It will start the EXE file which may not be what you want to do.
I’ve used a script to create a shortcut with Admin privileges, so that it’s easy to start. (The script is located in the script folder in the samba package.)
The script copies samba.exe, along with the setup.ini, to a folder named: Setup Packages. The folder should be located in the same location where the samba package is located.
Install the program, and open the script. A shortcut should be created on your desktop, and it should look something like this:
Double click on the shortcut, and enter your admin password.
Do whatever you want with the computer, and the «setupexe» utility should work.
