FileNotFoundException from new FileInputStream from a link in a jar file
I get FileNotFoundException when i make a link out of a jar file(jar file’s content is just a link to a file).
The application under test uses the link to open/read the file.

This code works, if i make a folder file and store a link to the link inside the jar.
In the java doc, it is mentioned that there is no guarantee that the jar file can be a folder.
Then why i can’t make a link from the jar?
Or what should be the solution?

Can’t you just use that library’s URL class (in the most recent Java versions) to create an instance of FileOutputStream and then perform the usual «file access» against that stream?
