Master Guard’s goal is to protect your data and prevent unauthorized users from accessing them, using the following methods:
Encryption using the AesCrypt encryption algorithm.
Password protection.
Activating Lock on a file after a specific period of inactivity, or if the keyphrase is wrong.
Locking a drive using drive’s password.
Setting off the Sleep timer function after an inactive period.
If the master password is wrong, the program automatically closes.
It is important to install Master Guard in a hidden directory (Notepad++ will allow you to do that quickly). In addition to the protection settings mentioned above, Master Guard can store all the data required for the identification of the protected files. Here is a brief description of the default settings for the Master Guard application. To start the application, click on the icon as usual, and then follow the instructions on the screen:
