The only way to make Klub is from scratch. Seriously it takes about a solid 12 – 15 hours to make with all the potatoes, ham and ham fat, and a good portion of flour. My family makes Klub every year before the Christmas season for close to 100 years. I’ve read alot of comments on how to make Klub and most of them say the same thing. That’s because they aren’t making the klub correctly. Some say all there is to it is flour and salt. But the real key to making the right klub is, there is no one right way. It is up to your own creativity and it will taste good. So don’t try to imitate someone else. Most of all, eat the klub and remember when you are cooking in your own kitchen, if it’s too dry or too wet it’s not a klub. So taste your klub and season it like it needs it.

The fat-up of B, C, G and J (the klub C letterforms) and the tapered C-shape of H (derived from the character «¤») constitutes the basic structure of all Klub types. But the Klub concept expands endlessly via B letterforms with different sizes, B letterforms with an angle, unicase and asymmetrical B letterforms, combination forms such as HL with B letters, and in Klub N6 three words (the Klub capitals) going into B format.

Now, the challenge is to find a balance between the wild and the elegant. This is no easy task for one, much less for a bunch of artists. Here, the goal is not to create «commercial» fonts for the industry and the streets – that’s not our aim. The best typography can be found among the posters of Vienna and Berlin. We always aim to produce the most cutting edge and stylish designs. The Klub ‘Bros’ is not only about the letters, but it’s about the content.

The Klub Alnico One is an ergonomic design with an effective weight, all-Mn, enhanced by a firm tightness on the haft of the spine. Featuring a blade with dual edges: a hidden one above the primary blade and a visible secondary blade embedded at the base of the body. The blade has a firm and tough teeth on the side of the edges, and is slightly pointed. The spine has a strong handle, which fits your palm perfectly and enables you to chop more effectively.
The Klub Ninseng TK17 is a Kukuri style knife with a traditional utility edge. However, as with the earlier Knives Of Destiny design, it is the tiniest of details that really affect the design and character of the blade. Such as the two clearly defined bimetallic edges on each side, that add extremely sophisticated and elegant visual interest. Together with the subtle and eloquent saurian pattern of the hilt, it gave me great pleasure to work on.
The Klub Exile TK17 is my pet project. The design is meant to be an upgraded version of the Knives of Destiny, but just add a few subtle details and the design is a new direction. I started to dig deeper into the knowledge on Kukuri style knives, and ended up designing something «new» which is – I hope – elegant and refined with a modern twist. The blade is built with a traditional feel, and the guard adds to the durability with the same on the top, which is broad enough to protect both hand and thumb.
The Klub A-Klub is a very practical knife. It’s wide blade can be used for many purposes, like cutting thin dough, slicing green beans, chopping herbs or nuts, and cutting things like thin sheet metal and cardboard. It is a knife designed for chopping, cutting, and clipping. It’s designed to be used directly after a trimming knife, to chop. The A-Klub is a light, comfortable, and practical knife. Its design comes from the original blade of the Kydex sheath of the Exile TK17, and has a convenient handle on the Kydex sheath to make it easier to carry it.
