Heroine Anthem Zero is an RPG action adventure game where you venture to the continent of Pessim, in search of the legendary “Harp of the Fallen Knight” – a relic believed to be shrouded in mystery for thousands of years. The story and characters will be familiar to anyone who has played RPG games in the past. You will encounter familiar tropes of character designs and CG, a plot involving a prophecy, and even familiar game elements including fusion-based attacks, and the “combat music”. However, Heroine Anthem Zero is unique in that it focuses more on the open-ended and emergent narrative design over the traditional RPG story. As you progress through the main quest, you will start to encounter the mysterious and terrifying Maledictus, a monster lurking on the “Shadow Shard Mountain” – a monolithic structure surrounded by a mysterious mist. On your quest, you will discover the truth behind the legend of the “Harp of the Fallen Knight”, and the meaning behind the destruction of the legendary city of Exhedra. Heroine Anthem Zero also has a multiplayer battle mode, and in its current state (version 1.0), features a story with two main characters. However, the game’s development is still underway, with plans to add further story characters.
Even before it was released, Heroine Anthem Zero was warmly received by the domestic and international community. It has been praised for its fantastic art style, drawing influence from Asian role-playing games, and its unique and dramatic story. The epic war between Good and Evil is now coming to the PC, with the promise of future content, and continuous updates.
【Story】
As the beginning of the game, you wake up in a cave with nothing but your clothes, weapon and a high-tech armor, and no memory of your past. You enter the world of Pessim at the beginning of Chapter 1, and meet 7 other fabled heroes, including the Queen of the Maiden Palace, and the archmage who raised you. Along with the Queen, you meet an old wizard, who paternally raises and advises you, assuring you of your destiny: to seek out the legendary “Harp of the Fallen Knight”. In addition to the Queen, your party includes:
● The Swordsman – A young mercenary who has yet to find his true path in life. He also carries the legendary “Dragon Claws”, and has earned the status of Hero.

Anyone who’s been following Tattooed Owl’s achievements in the tattoo industry has likely seen her penchant for rebellious, dark, and mysterious art. Heroine Anthem Zero, a collaboration between Tattooed Owl and Deluxe Living Productions, sees Heroine pushing the boundaries of tattooing. Heavy with concept, a task her gifter – fellow Tattooed Owl – seemingly thought only of and delivered in this book, Heroine offers a look into a modern woman’s life and times through the cryptic hand-drawn world of tattoos.
In the book’s introduction, Heroine sets the stage for the reader by defining her art in a very personal way. It’s here that the reader learns that Heroine has a feminine counterpart called The Hardy Ranger who shares her perspectives and struggles. While sometimes crude and edgy, Heroine’s art is neither determined nor youth-driven. Instead, it’s all about the moments of womanhood, hope, love, and life lived out in an obscenely hard world. Heroine also addresses the industry in a way that only she can – the true mission is always the tattoo. She’s a tattoo artist, period, not the tattoo artist of tomorrow.
One thing Heroine doesn’t address is the hidden motives of the tattoo industry. There are plenty of excellent tattoo books that delve into such topics as you might expect. Heroine is a new voice that doesn’t replace what has come before, but rather, elevates it. These pages provide answers where Tattooed Owl’s did not. Those of us with canine companions know all too well the relationship with heroes. We want to take our hero’s underneath our shirts, our sleeves, somewhere they can appreciate the craftsmanship we put into protecting them and showing them love. And we long to be tattooed, just like them.
