And if the developer can see how important is every idea and suggestion, it has to be fixed right away.
I actually had an idea for something new, but not one that would be beneficial for others, but it was actually really good for me. I wanted to take a picture of the waiter’s arms and legs from the first game and make them part of a story. But the rules that I had put in place to keep me from being distracted were preventing me from doing so.
And that’s why.
I didn’t want to bother the developers because they’re busy. I sent the picture as an email attachment and I got a reply pretty quickly. I got to know that the picture was wrong because there would be the waiter’s arms and legs and the girls from the background.
I’m really hoping that they can give me the chance to execute that idea.
I think they can be incorporated into a story, even if it’s a separate one. I know I would love to see it.
But I never want to bother the developers with inane suggestions, some of which are even beneficial for the players.
I was frustrated with the developers on that. However, they are in a hurry, but I can understand why they can’t do it.
I would send someone a question that I would be interested in answering, but it would not be something that I would consider a priority to them.
It’s just that they don’t respond to suggestions.

Since we started developing the new Pixels of Ingrand game, we have been testing it with various settings. All of them have their own benefits, but when we tested the game at 720p resolution, for instance, we noticed that the game isn’t very pleasing to the eye. The game looked okay at 1080p, but it wasn’t as sharp as it should be.
Why didn’t we plan on supporting the 720p resolution? We do support the 1080p resolution, but as the game has its own separate assets for both resolutions, using only one when creating the game would have caused some problems. We decided to use the 1440p resolution, since it was the closest match to the regular size of the game.
But when we got to developing the game, all of the sudden we realized that the game looked ugly at 1440p. In fact, we could tell that it looked bad just from screenshots. The game looked even worse than the 720p resolution at 1080p!
Considering that all of the game’s settings are at the highest possible resolution, this was weird. We knew it was something wrong with our game and we didn’t want to leave all of the work we had done to date.
We wondered why we had to change the resolution, but we didn’t get a single answer. We tried to find out why it was giving us issues on our own and then we realized what it was: textures.
When we created a texture for the game, we chose the highest size we could find. They should be small and regular, but it seems like they weren’t. So, we had to change the size of the textures.
This was something we couldn’t make changes to. The team working on our game had to set the settings to the highest possible resolution, but we didn’t want to leave the textures at 720p size.
