Hi everyone! This is the very first video in my series where I’ll be reviewing let’s plays and streams of some of my favorite games that I streamed this month!
For this particular video I’ll be talking about Imperishable Tracks
I had originally intended on streaming this game on this date but due to a server meltdown, I had to resume streaming my games on March 7th.
I’ll be playing a few games on this stream this weekend including Imperishable Tracks, the Star Wars: The Old Republic Role-Playing Game as well as some of the game’s expansions.
All of the games I choose to play will be either in my Let’s Play Collection or will be games I find very interesting and want to try and explore more thoroughly.

The story follows the famous Frog Detective, who as you’ll see was given a sequel that is even better than the original. Some mysteries lend themselves to outside-the-box theories and solutions; others, never mind. You know, the cases where you have to be fully in the box and try to justify yourself to a detective (or sometimes the next-closest thing).
Take Frog Detective 1: The Case of the Strawberry Nice Guy. There’s really nothing suspicious in that, is there? He’s just a guy who grew up around your average environmentalist in Massachusetts and got his news from the radio. He doesn’t watch or read anything conservative; neither does his wife or in-laws. He doesn’t dogrove anything about guns or climate change. He’s not a Republican. He’s just a guy who loves frogs and thinks that science is interesting.
But that very work is of shrewd investigative merit, after all.
In Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard, detective Nutmegger interviews a witness, who tells him about a co-worker’s story of her encounter with a mythical animal. When asked, she said that it was Bigfoot, but then she tells him that she doesn’t believe in Bigfoot, and then she tells him that it was a pterodactyl, but then she tells him that she doesn’t think that pterodactyls even exist because she doesn’t think that we have flying dinosaurs. At this point, the detective is deep into debunking talk-to-her-three times-and-you-get-it mode.
But then, out of nowhere, the lady says, “Wait. I knew about this all along.”
You’d think that anyone who would put herself up for ridicule through deliberate obfuscation would at least come up with a believable lie. But in the case of the lady who has apparently consulted her source to do all the talking, she doesn’t even do that. The lady casually informs the detective that “they have an invisibility spell on them.”
Invisibility spell? Like Cinderalla’s, but for frogs?
Even if it were plausible, which the detective somehow finds that it isn’t.
