Push notification

The web api supports push notification to your mobile phone/tablet. With push notification enabled, you can push notifications to your devices without a push host (also called a push notification gateway). In this case, the user device is a push host. For example, it can be enabled to start an APK file on mobile devices or send data to two mobile devices simultaneously.

If you want to set a token to be used in push notification, you can configure the web api to use your own tokens

When a user login, the web api will generate a token to be used in all push notifications that device have been authorized, or can be authorized. This token will keep this user signed in and must be delivered to the client in user authentication when push notifications are invoked.

The web api will deliver the token when push notifications are invoked to the client (callback url), e.g. you can subscribe for push notifications to the video player and invoke the callback url with push notification.
