if you are installing the software for the first time, do not use the dll files starting with fwlib (e.g. fwlib32.dll) included in fanucpmc.zip. for hssb on a real machine use the fwlib dlls that the machines pc uses (search for them). for ncguide use the following 5 dlls that are installed by ncguide: fwlib0dn.dll, fwlib32.dll, fwlibncg.dll, hssb.dll and mcnhssb.dll.

the ladder control has a function selection menu on the left. the top section of the menu is «programming» which will open the programming screen. the next section is «advanced programming» which will open the advanced programming screen. the next section is «machine settings» which will open the settings screen.

to view the error it is
error:intp-267 run statement failed
the error occurred in a fanuc programming run
the programmer followed the instructions for updating and restarting the computer.
the program is running normally before it failed.

i have a fanuc ladder-iii v6.70 version that is giving me a error message when i try to import it to my fanuc r-30i. for example, when i try to import a new ladder file i get the following error message:
error:intp-267 run statement failed

i was able to download the latest program.pmc from fanuc.com the r-30i will not load it. the r-30i is set to load the new program.pmc file when it is saved. any ideas how to load the new program.pmc file from fanuc.com?

i use background logic most often, and ive written about it before with an intro to fanuc background logic and how to use bg logic to to simplify your tp programs. if you dont need motion, you can probably do it with background logic. for almost all other cases, i will generally use the run statement to spawn another task.

the screen shots do not give an idea of the wizard. when you are done you will have a wiring diagram of the machine to your right and the signals you need for your tap points appear to the left. you can select the tap point and turn on/off the signal. you can move the tap point to your needed spot and delete it if it does not work out. you can zoom in and edit the signal and route it. this allows you to change the signal but keep the wiring the same.
there is a simple search function where you can enter a parameter and have the program return the values on the machine and the controls the parameter would affect. this allows you to build up a database on all machines.
it is great to have this program as it makes reading wiring diagrams easy and the controls allow you to have the flexibility to move taps around. you have a variety of options such as deleting signals and modifying the signal which allows you to edit the signal without changing the wiring. what you cannot change is the wiring. here is some help on the fanuc website for use on the ladder screen: fanuc lm-11 – ladder iii help
