Dead Space 2 is the first sequel in the Dead Space series and was released on January 26, 2010. It was developed by Visceral Games and published by EA. The game was released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC (Windows) on January 26, 2010. Shortly before the game was released, the game was available for digital download via Xbox Live Arcade for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3.

Wrote a review for this game and posted it to Amazon. «I’m no big fan of the Dead Space series, but the first one is a pretty solid game. I particularly enjoyed the barbed wire, just a nice touch that was not repeated in the second game, and the story is definitely worth playing through (on several different difficulties, as the game has a pretty steep difficulty curve if you don’t play it on hard, and you should), and the multiplayer is pretty fun. Since the developers decided to put multiplayer in Dead Space 2 in order to try and appease everyone and even as a tribute to the fans, it’s a shame that the single player campaign is pretty pathetic. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still enjoying the game, but only as a multiplayer game, and I wouldn’t recommend that you play it by yourself in the single player.» Rated 5.0 by 1 user.
