Qazi Abdul Daim is very simple in nature but never compromises on quality. He tells us that he had a dream that a Wali Abu Hatta Hun Surahil Hun (for these two lines, he made a lot of effort to find the original Urdu-yi.) Now Urdu is not a language, but a poetic language. So, the difference is just one of language and not the meaning.

However, Qazi Abdul Daim makes the actual meaning of the line in Urdu perfectly clear. In his opinion it is very difficult to come up with the exact meaning in the original Urdu. So, we can see that some English scholars who are claiming to be experts on Arabic can not even understand and appreciate what he has written.

Shorifan was a very famous dastur Syed Abdul Daim who has recorded many Hadiths of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Syed Abdul Daim narrates both Aiteens and Atighs (falsehoods) that has been told by the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). I dont know whether this is true or not. But we know this that Durood Shareefs are not considered true by many Salafis.

This Daimiya or Daimiya Ulema, I guess, is also one of those who earn money selling Hadiths of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). They even do not look for Hadiths, rather they say that since they are his students, their Hadith must be correct.

Daim was also an influential thinker and writer who founded Kasturi, a school in Nawabshah. He founded a journal named Nusrat. He was also associated with several literary, social, and linguistic movements. He was also a stalwart of Urdu Literature and a great leader of the Transvaal Movement.

The following are some of the popular books written by Allama Iqbal translated by him. The books will be arranged according to the alphabetic order of the name, taken from the book by Chatterjee.
Another great collection of wonderful poetry in Urdu. I tried several but this one is the best. and only 4 books were out. Daim was another great poet of my country. Paasit Jeev KaaSee Nahi and Paasit Jeev KaaGaech Nahi did not sell as they are not as good. Regarding its quality and because of its large size you can download Urdu Fast/Slow.
I am not sure where to find this book. I am trying to find it online atleast but could not find the link. Maybe its through the books available through my university and may be I have access to it. but even if I do not, I know it exists. It must have been written in 2005 with a time to print of 3 to 5 years. It was published at any rate. Its a collection of poems by great poets of Pakistan and apart from the poets; its got some good stuff too.
I like Urdu poetry too. But its not difficult to look for the best ones. I have not used any translation for this one. If you wish to download the Urdu Fast/Slow you will find a link. As always I have used the standard Urdu font Times New Roman. If you do not have it, then the alternative is ITC Stone Serif.
What chatterjee has done is magnificent and that too at a very expensive rate. But then why not when our love for poetry knows no bounds.
