Review:
When you open a comic in Comicrack, you get the feeling that you’re opening a little window on a world that only exists on the pages of the comic in question. This application knows exactly how to mimic that and is a really good one when it comes to opening a specific comic book in a very simple and intuitive way.
What is new in the version 3.2.1 of Comicrack?
Of course, the good old book folder has been improved and it now will remember the folder where you imported some books before. In other words, if the application finds out that the folder where the comic book has been imported to changed, then it will apply the settings you’ve used before to the new folder.
Bookmarks have been expanded with the ability to create multiple bookmark entries and the «Add Entry» button will create empty lines in the list for you to add new books when you click on it.
There’s also a small update to the toolbars which now makes it easy to add a new window to the main one with a quick click.
Comicracks wizard can now export images in the RAW format and the help is completely updated.
What are the issues?
One potential issue is that the application can ask for a password when importing books but it does not prompt you for this when the book folder is opened for the first time.
Pros:
The application is really good at mimicking the feeling of opening a small window and this is one of its main features.
It is great with opening various kind of digital comic books and the toolbars that are available make it very user-friendly.
The book manager is a great tool which will allow you to organize books or to add new ones.
Cons:
It is a paid version of Comicrack and it lacks some features that are available in the Free version.
There is no real home button that lets you access the options menu as a result of moving Comicrack into a separate window.
