The PC version of Don’t Chat With Strangers is available from Steam and from the GOG store for $12.99.

The Xbox Live and PlayStation Network versions of the PC game are currently unavailable.

The recent update to Don’t Chat With Strangers for Steam now adds 4 achievements.

The first achievement (available after all the 8 hours of gameplay) is called «Warning: Potentially Harmful Content» because the player sends a harmless text message, which could still actually be an indirect sign of danger.
The second achievement (available after playing the game for 12 hours) is called «Too scared to quit» because during the game the player visits the bedroom of the virtual stranger 10 times while they spend 8 hours inside.
The third achievement (available after playing the game for 24 hours) is called «Can’t get rid of him!» because the player comes to the end of the game with the virtual stranger hovering around them.
The fourth achievement (available after playing the game for 32 hours) is called «It’s not funny» because the player continuously talks to the virtual stranger until the player gets scared.

Definitely not a title that I usually pick up, but the price seemed reasonable, so I gave it a go.

After loading the game, I was immediately greeted with the welcome message: «Miyo Miyo is now ready to play.» Normally this is not something you’d expect from a prototype, but it seemed alright. This is how the game greets you:

The object of the game is to get to a «love lock» level. Each time you «lock» a girl into a love lock you will go up a level. If you get hooked up with a girl you have met before you will take her to the higher level. Should you be lucky enough to attain the highest level of «love lock» you will have unlock a secret door that will allow you to go on to the next level of the love story. When the love story ends you will unlock one of four bonus endings.

This is a first person game, so it’s pretty immersive. You get a third person view as your avatar moves from one girl to another, as you sit down at a cafe to a street corner and more. It’s a nice change of pace from more of the usual dating games we have seen.
There are currently 2 women to start with. You can unlock others as you play through the various love stories.
In this game I have gone with a humorous interpretation of a real-life love story. I have tried to take the romance and place it into a time-slot that is easily accessible and still fun for the viewer.
The graphics on screen are easy on the eyes and won’t bother even the most sensitive of gamers. Also, the sound is great!
I hope you find this dating simulator to be entertaining, interesting and enjoyably cheap.

The game runs on the Zwei engine, and the library in a Zwei offers all the same graphical and gameplay enhancements that Falcom’s previous titles have.

Gameplay Options:
In addition to the standard route, there is a RTS, a simulation, and two RPG modes.

Attack Type:
