Robocopy does not copy any files?
I am trying to move files by using robocopy, and the source is a mapped SMB share. I have searched this site and tried to edit the robocopy command line using different options and whatnot, but nothing seem to work.
All I get is a «Transfer complete, 926861 files copied, 93785182312 bytes (1,067.48 GB) moved».
What am I doing wrong? What is my final destination? And what is the fastest way to move these files?
My current command line is:

What am I doing wrong? What is my final destination? And what is the fastest way to move these files?
By using -y you are saying to overwrite the destination files. Therefore robocopy cannot know what destination you want.
You are trying to copy the entire contents of a disk that may not be readily available or may be on a network share. Your command line is non-optimal in that it contains -E and -r. -E will not find the file and it will search the entire share for a match. The file share is slow because it is on a network share. -r will recursively copy the directory as if it were a mounted volume. Also, your command line is too long.

The BNM software was designed to aid the modelling of organic systems through the formalism of boolean networks. BNM is able to describe many key features of biological systems without requiring a large number of parameters (such as threshold parameters and Hill coefficients) and can easily handle large numbers of connected variables. BNM can be used to simulate biological networks by using a model of a biological network (or gene-gene interactions) to drive a simulator, the BNM Simulator, which can then be used to predict the output of the system for a specified set of input values.
Boolean Network Modeller Requirements:
BNM has the following requirements:-
* Data files must be in list or csv format.
* The data provided must include the pathways in the correct order that can be analysed together in a single model (ie each time a different condition is evaluated, each time step corresponds to a different cell and each time step must record the state of a node from the previous time step (so the data file must contain all pathways in one folder under a single condition).
* The data provided must include the pathways in a single file, organised in groups (pathways in a single condition must be on one row and corresponding gene name on the next row).
* The files must contain two columns, separated by a comma (ie «true» and «false»):
– «true» – «False» (or similar)
– «true»
– «false»
1.1.1 Restrictions:-
* BNM must not start simulation till it is fed a data file
* BNM must be able to hold the records of all pathways in the model at once. This is the case when the boolean network has all possible combinations of gene expression values and no pathways are predicted to have non-zero activity or non-zero response.
* BNM must be able to determine the total number of pathways in the model. The only mechanisms by which BNM does this is by assigning a weight to every pathway in the model. The weight assigned to a pathway is the number of «states» of the pathway (eg a pathway has 2 inputs and 1 output) minus one.
* BNM must be able to identify which pathway is connected to which in the model. The only way that BNM does this is by parsing through the data file, which should be in either a very simple format (i.e. does not have any nested parenthesis for example) or in csv format.

BNM is designed to be a software tool which, using its own modelling language, can be used to model many different sets of scenarios which can then be analysed using standard bioinformatics methods to highlight areas of the system which could be manipulated to provide potential therapies for a range of diseases. It can model the whole system, the individual pathways in the system, or any combination of these.
BNM consists of multiple tools which must be used sequentially but in a harmonious way. These tools are found in the toolbar to the right of the interface.

KDE Control Center notifications missing – with «lsb-release -a» command that return the right version
since I tried to install Wine with ubuntu 13.10, the system doesn’t remind me when there is an update available nor which program should be updated.
In order to check what is going on, I’ve used this command:
$ lsb_release -a

Problem is that if I check the «Installed Software», there’s no «Wine Update». So, I’ve used apt-get upgrade –no-install-recommends and after that I’ve reboot. As I expected, Wine Update was not installed.
Then, I’d installed Wine version 1.6.2 (I use Wine 1.6 since Wine version 1.6 is incompatible with WINEPREFIX and with Wine version 1.6, I couldn’t run the games I play with the project I’m working on). Then I’ve updated using the command:
$ sudo apt-get upgrade –no-install-recommends
