Suppose if I increase the offset of part1 for some amount ( let’s say 4 ). Now I have a scenario where my replication factor is 2 and there is only 1 replica for part1.

If i take the replication factor to 3 i get the below which is fine.

However what will happen when I try to update the offset for part1 using Kafka commit offset?
