Addition and subtraction differ
from each other mainly in the sense
that addition is transitive while
subtraction is not.
That is, if we say x + y = z,
then y + z = x, because if x
and z are both positive,
then y has to be positive
as well.
But x – y = z,
y – z = x does not necessarily
imply x is positive.
For example, if we write
x – y = z,
x and y have to be negative,
but z cannot be negative,
as that would imply that x and
y are both negative,
which is nonsense.
So the next result
is x + y – x – y = x – x
=-y.
And now we can say,
is that so and so?
Can we check our
amplitude models?
So x – y is equivalent to
y + z
where x + y = z.
So now we can calculate
the difference quotient.
So this is dfdt.
And now we will apply
it to a similar integral,
that we calculated before.
We will use
a different letter,
so that there is no confusion
with the previous example.
So the result is
the amplitude.
So for the integral
we had

Adición y resta difieren
de cada una sobre todo en el sentido
que la suma es transitiva mientras
la resta no lo es.
Es decir, si decimos x + y = z,
entonces y + z = x, ya que si x
y, son ambos positivos
entonces y tiene que ser positivo
también.
Pero x – y = z,
y – z = x no necesariamente
implica que x es positivo.
Por ejemplo, si escribimos
x – y = z,
x y tiene que ser negativo,
pero z no puede ser negativo,
ya que eso implica que x y
