Splice is a surreal and hypnotic music experience that will make you see things in a new way.
The neon-drone hybrid soundscape will catch you off-guard as it makes it impossible to escape the tone which takes you into a dreamlike state. Every second of this beautiful musical journey is unique and free to create, with an enormous palette of modifiers and effects as well as an infinite number of possible combinations.
The free version of the game comes with the 4 Epilogue sequences, plus a bonus track. This track has been made available in the Splice folder of the Steam installation directory for those who own the game.
Splice is a free game, but it also has optional in-game purchases. In-game purchases are optional and can be turned off in the game options. Splice is only available for Windows.
In-Game purchases:
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Full Version for a permanent access to the full potential of the game.
SUPER RECOMMENDED: Upgrade to the Two Lane Highway version to experience additional music sequences and continue creating music while playing.
It is possible to buy the game version on your own, then unlock the in-game purchases.

How to find «work» (motion across distance) out of a string in XNA?
I have a string of integers, e.g. «42 52 76». They represent positions on a (x, y) screen. I know exactly what the numbers represent (I’m literally using an emulator), but I’m still a bit confused about using strings.
How can I transform this string into motion across space?
I need to take the numbers I’ve got, read them off the screen (each is a single point), and then be able to say, «Move (point) across screen, outputting that point, every 100 pixels» or something like that, for me to then take that into the rendering engine and have all sorts of other XNA-ish things happen.
I don’t want to do it literally with the string, though (not yet).

This post started out in the realm of Vapid perusing the Fandible’s soundtracks. Then I realized I had questions for those who already had a bet at calling the winner.
After going over the list, I realized something that I’m a little shocked to find out. I really, really think Clari Sartorius holds her own as violinist, and I would lay money on it that she beats out Ellen Burrson-Cohen for goat-obsessed killer.
I’d imagine someone like Perry Rhoda would have a greater advantage for being a black sheep’s son. But even if we assume he’s the lesser skilled of the two, it’s still a guaranteed win if it can be proven that he bribed or otherwise caused the kidnapper to spill his guts.
I admit, I did not consider Judge Sturdy, and because of it, I am one of the people that has speculated that the egg-thieving session that Audrey spoke about that we never saw could be a more frank recounting of Ed and Magda’s molestation, whereby Ed was provoked by the callous immorality of Ruby Cassidy’s roommate (which we never got to see or hear), and Magda testified and was stoned by Ripper Doll. Oh wait. Geez, that still takes place at Cooper’s trailer, that I remembered.
Been a few days since I commented. I just figured it best to allow myself to get there for now, even if it means I spend my days writing out useless trivia into my review. Not gonna try editing that one anytime soon.
Anyway, when I was going back over my previous comments, I realized that I never actually finished deciding who I thought was right about the Elvis gospel music reference. Like I said in the comments, I thought it was the Goatspeak Cheerleading Track, but after I reread the script, I realized I didn’t see the relevance. But then I remembered that girl’s screwing with us by referring to her plan as «a genuine neurocentrifugal event.» So… I almost believe that it’s the track.
And the same can be said of the Scissor Hands comment… except that the track sounds familiar. But I can’t say for sure that I knew that when I first laid down my bets. It could have been a line I added because I felt like it sounded good. It’s really weird to me that it
