There are pros and cons to having casual sex. Of course, since it’s considered something of an indulgence, you have to be disciplined enough to try to walk the fine line between doing something for fun and doing something that you think you’re going to regret later.
But at the end of the day, these easy-come, easy-go rules aren’t meant to shape your sexuality. If you’re trying to make a lifestyle change, you need to adopt a different philosophy. Knowing the potential risks that come along with casual sex can give you the freedom to get it on when it feels right. And if it doesn’t, you aren’t forced to continue a relationship with someone who turns you off.
All that said, the risks and cautions that surround casual sex are far less than what’s involved in simply having a one-night stand. It’s no wonder some people opt for the more casual approach to dating.
This is the only hookup site that makes it easy to find fuck buddies with just a few clicks, whenever you want.
But if you want to get over the obsession with your relationship, you’re gonna need to engage in casual sex more often than you did before. The ideal hookup person is somebody you have a few nice things to say about, and who you can flirt with for hours, so he or she feels like your brand new BFF.
But that’s not to say that everyone should practice casual sex until they get to that level of comfort — it’s all about balance, with sexual liberation and experimentation one side, and your commitment to your long-term partner on the other. But if having casual sex is still a foreign concept to you, that’s okay, too. When it comes to sex, the more you try, the better you’ll get.
Did you know that casual sex is the new hookup?
If you’ve heard someone say that sex is the new dating, then you are truly living in the present. Remember when you were in high school and how, even though you thought you weren’t into girls, you dated a ton of girls? Well, your time is just now.
Casual sex has gotten so much exposure that it’s now the public norm. Whether you are hooking up for a quick make out session or trying a really casual one-night stand, sometimes you have to go in knowing that this person may never see you again. Casual sex is all about having fun and having fun together.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — Online matchmaking websites will hook you up with the sex of your dreams using algorithms based on personality type, location and almost any other basic personal data you think might be relevant.
But they are also hooking up with your privacy, allowing third-party companies to track your on-line sexcapades and sell your information in exchange for a mere fee.
A new Los Angeles law that went into effect last month bans companies from using users’ personal information to sell them «advertisements, offers, solicitations, or information regarding products or services» without their express consent.
The law is a response to an explosion in the number of matchmaking websites and apps that fill the market. While many operate as a free service, many of them are making money by collecting and selling a user’s personal data.
Laws have been introduced in California and other states to address the issue, but until last month, users’ liability remained murky.
The ban comes in the midst of a two-day market conference on sexual networking apps and websites being held this week in New York City.
In addition to allowing users to input the data they deem fit on their profiles, matchmaking companies often match users up based on various categories — intelligence, ethnicity, religion, etc.
The logic behind this is that if someone is assigned to you based on some criteria, it means that the person is likely to be in the same industry or has the same interests. But if you share these interests, you might just end up in some pretty inappropriate situations.
«I think sometimes the problem is that we don’t realize that we’re allowing data-hungry companies to get access to such personal information and, thereby, connect us to people and companies we are not comfortable with,» said Gabby Wieder, an assistant professor of business at Syracuse University.
Under the new law, individuals have the ability to disassociate themselves from data brokers by checking a box and submitting a written request.
Wieder also sees the law as a necessary step toward regulating the market and protecting people from websites and apps that are free but simultaneously collecting the data needed to offer users customized services.
«We need to understand that these things are not a free lunch,» she said.
