This tool displays surfaces hidden within a 3D model. It allows you to define the form of the surface.

Clipping

This tool creates multiple views of a 3D model, giving you a different angle of a view of the model.

Drawing tools

These tools allow you to create different types of drawings, such as line, arc, circle, rectangle, and freeform shapes.

2008
In AutoCAD 2008, the Viewport Manager and the Meshwork were updated and improved. Two new DGN models were added, as well as an update to the DXF and DWG file format. New tools included the Polar Panorama tool and the Surface Create tool. These tools were designed for use with AutoCAD architectural models, but can also be used with the standard CAD models. CAD file compression was added for AutoCAD LT. The Text Tool replaced the Scribe Tool and improved efficiency for batch annotation, glyph editing, and glyph selection. A new button was added to the Grab tool. AutoCAD added the ability to select multiple splines in the AutoCAD DesignCenter.
2009
In AutoCAD 2009, the Viewport Manager and the Meshwork were updated and improved. In addition, the Spline Editor was updated with a major re-design. In addition, a number of new tools were added. The Zebra and Lens tools were added for creating 3D views of 2D or 3D objects from 2D drawings. The Smart View tool was improved to create orthographic views or perspective views. The new Feature Select tool allowed editing the attributes of a feature without having to select it. In addition, a new Feature Layer capability was added, which allowed using attributes for polylines, arcs, splines, and many other features. New tools include the Grab tool (with a new interface), the Advanced Zooming tool, the Direct Edit tool for shapes, and the Radial Vector tool. In AutoCAD LT, the 2013 material template is available with many of the standard materials for AutoCAD.

Although Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) is used as an indicator of arterial disease, the technique is imprecise. This study describes an interactive educational program aimed at improving the sensitivity and reproducibility of community ABI measurements. We assessed changes in the ABI measured on 400 consecutive patients at a community based outpatient clinic. The initial exam was done on each patient by a single physician. Immediately after this, a further exam was done by a nurse-examiner who was not aware of the initial ABI. A 30-40% reduction in the number of patients with ABI values < or =0.9 and < or =1.4 was seen. There was a concomitant 20-30% reduction in the number of patients with inconsistent readings
