Tower Of God: Being from New York, I’m sure you must have met quite a few bands from New England in your time. How did you hear about Carnivore prior to the band signing to Riot Avenue Records?

The Wayward Sons: Oh no, you’ve got us all wrong. I may have read a few reviews, but nothing really compared to what you’re probably describing.

Didn’t know a thing about Carnivore. Let’s us lay it all out on the table now: For how you came across Carnivore, was it your intent from the very start?

We the Wayward Sons are a Family Band and throughout our travels (Military, Music Schools, work engagements, recording sessions, sightings, rehearsals etc.), we stumble across bands with kindred souls, or at the very least are what we came for. I’ve been involved with the Rock/Metal scene from way back, and am pretty fluent in the terminology, so am aware of the worth of a band and those that spend time and effort curating their own niche. After many years, I’ve come to realize that the best route for the longevity of a band is not through a few years of explosive growth, but rather a slow burn that ignites and develops over time. I believe this is also what the scene needs at this time, as well as the band’s patience and dedication. Carnivore is a band that has the right mentality to fulfill the kind of music I present, and with our newest release we do so with a greater passion and clarity than ever before.

Carnivore had a record on a few indie labels before becoming affiliated with Riot Avenue Records. Was it always your intent to part with them and go your own way?

This is an original series of games by writer/game developer Aaron Heine, where you play as a demonic entity trying to save the world! Most of the time, Aaron will sneak his demonic ways into your daily routine, while other times you will be the one looking for him.

The world of the game is inspired by superhero comics, with the demonic version of a superhero, the Demon, playing the role of the hero fighting off the villains.

You are given the ability to control your forms at will, which will be used to fight off the villains, along with your special demonic powers.

This is not a game where you are fighting for moral values or purity. This is a game where you fight to gather souls. Souls are the life force of humanity and demons need them in order to survive. Demons will try to get their hands on souls, and you are the one who needs to save them. You can’t always save everyone, but you can save some. This is all about finding a balance between helping and saving.

The game features a fighting system, where you can choose to fight or to be patient. You will have to make strategic decisions throughout your adventure. The demons have their own unique abilities, which you can use in your fight against them. The demons could be taking control of your body, and you need to use all of your powers to fight back. You can use your powers as long as you have enough souls, which will replenish as you battle.

You can fight using weapons, including the ability to use your demon’s claws to rip open the bodies of the demons you fight. You can climb walls and can climb up others. You can even teleport yourself and others! Demons love to fight, and you will be doing a lot of it in this game.
